High Voltage Kills Teenager in Bulgaria

A teenager has died after he was electrocuted trying to climb an electricity pole and accidentally touched a live wire in the eastern Bulgarian city of Shumen.

High voltage threw the 16-year-old off the pole and although he was rushed to the hospital doctors were unable to save him.

The incident took place Sunday in the Shumen area known as “Pod Manastira” (Under the Monastery) and the boy died Monday morning.
