A total of four journalists were beaten up late Wednesday night in Sofia as they were covering a car accident, Darik News revealed.
The employees of Nova TV and Noshten Trud were reportedly assaulted by Pavlin Donchev, whose friend drove a BMW that was involved in the crash.
None of the journalists was hurt seriously, except for Noshten Trud’s photo reporter Michel Geron, who sustained a head trauma and needed stitches.
Unconfirmed reports say that Donchev was drunk when he assaulted the reporters. He has no previous police record.
